Aymeric Lejeune | Network

“There’s treasure everywhere” summarises quite nicely how Aymeric looks at things. With a flexible mindset and a genuine interest for people, he connects the dots, nurturing relationships both inside and outside the organisation, aligning strategic interests, and identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth.
Outside of work, you’ll find him as the serious yet playful dad, having fun with friends, helping people and doing jigsaw puzzles.
Benoit Lebrun | Supporting Services

Benoit keeps every vital operation running like a well-timed heartbeat at the heart of the European Resuscitation Council. Administration and Support Services have been his forte for years. He orchestrates teams, streamlines systems, and ensures that every nitty-gritty of the ERC reaches all levels of the ERC structure across Europe and beyond without a hitch.
In a field where seconds save lives, his leadership ensures that everything, be it logistics or support, doesn't miss a beat.
Chiara Gasparotto | CEO (Incoming)

Chiara is a firm believer in the power of associations and good governance, and passionate about stakeholder engagement and making complex things actually work (and simple things too). She studied public relations, and her career focuses on European medical associations, shaping education, science, advocacy and governance portfolios.
Outside work, she’s an enthusiastic concert-goer, an avid reader, and always on the lookout for her next adventure, often guided by good food.
Dominique Hendrickx | Administration

Dominique is the one everyone seeks when paperwork tangles or procedures stall. With years of experience in Administration and ERC, she knows exactly which doors to knock on and which forms to fix before problems grow.
While others see only administrative hurdles, Dominique sees puzzles to solve, and by the end of each day, countless small crises have disappeared because she was there to handle them.
Ellen Vander Borgt | Course Organisation

Ellen helps to increase the chances of survival for people in need through knowledge, training and education.
In addition to her work, she is also a volunteer nurse/paramedic and passionately devotes a significant portion of her free time. Helping people in their most vulnerable moments gives her an extra meaning. At home, she finds strength and peace with her family and their two dogs.
Jan Van Dooren | CEO

Jan helps steer Europe’s leading resuscitation network with energy and vision, and leads the organisation’s strategic and operational development. He comes from a mainstream background, having worked in the Shipping Industry; he is passionate about making every piece of knowledge accessible, engaging, and impactful for professionals and public.
When he’s not shaping strategy or strengthening partnerships, Jan is driven by a simple goal: helping more people survive cardiac arrest and return to their lives.
Karin Nestor | Finance

Karin has a rare talent for navigating the maze of Belgian taxes and rules, turning what others dread into problems, she genuinely enjoys solving. Between balancing budgets and untangling complex regulations, she carries the calm confidence of someone who knows every form and deadline by heart, and acts as a bridge between strategy and reality—translating complex financial data into clear insights that help the entire team move forward with confidence.
After work, she trades spreadsheets for stories—losing herself in a good book or the quiet magic of the theatre, where numbers give way to narratives.
Linda Van Campenhout | Support Desk

At the European Resuscitation Council, Linda’s days are shaped by a quiet but essential mission: keeping things running smoothly. As a helpdesk specialist and skilled data cruncher, she moves between solving urgent IT issues and carefully sorting and analysing data that supports research activities behind the scenes.
Each problem that reaches her desk is treated like a puzzle waiting to be solved—whether it’s restoring a system, guiding a user through a technical hiccup, or making sense of complex datasets.
Marlie van Gils | Guidelines and Course Development

Marlie is passionate about turning learning into an engaging and memorable journey. With a strong talent for storytelling, she blends education with entertainment to capture attention and spark curiosity.
She is dedicated to making knowledge accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for learners of all ages. Her creative approach transforms complex ideas into experiences that inspire, connect, and stay with people long after they learn.
Mazarine Thyssens | Outreach Projects

Mazarine spends her days trying to convince Europe that learning CPR is just as important as learning to drive.
With a background in European Public Health and a master’s in Healthcare Management and Policy underway, she works at the ERC on projects that bring life-saving skills to communities across Europe — sometimes even in football fan zones.
Prama Nanda | Marketing & Communication

Prama moves seamlessly between art and strategy, a senior Integrated MARCOM & Business Strategist who fuses creativity with purpose. She shapes brands, leads campaigns, and turns challenges into results, connecting with people and bringing stories to life at every turn.
At heart, she is an artist - whether through abstract expressionism, Indian semi-classical vocals, or narrative-driven marketing — where creativity and strategy blend into one bold, unforgettable story, she commands with precision and passion.
Queenie Kessie | Administration

Queenie keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes at the European Resuscitation Council, providing administrative support with a smile. She enjoys bringing structure to busy days and making sure the details are taken care of.
When she is not organising emails, documents, or projects, she is usually working on entrepreneurial ideas or connecting people and opportunities. In short: admin by profession, problem solver by nature.
Saloua Safri | Course System and Support

Saloua approaches each challenge as an opportunity to design practical and efficient improvements, with a calm and solution-oriented mindset. As one of the longest-serving members of the European Resuscitation Council, Saloua has grown alongside the organisation, from the early days of the Course Management System to its current form, she has played a central role in shaping, maintaining, and continuously improving it.

Outside of work, you will likely find her spending quality time with loved ones, travelling or happily getting lost in a good book.

Whether adapting to new environments or managing multiple responsibilities, she approaches each situation with calm focus and strong time-management skills.
Her love for travelling and engaging with people has shaped an open, curious perspective on the world, while a deep interest in sustainability reflects her desire to contribute to something meaningful.
Felicia Jonga | Intern - Courses

Felicia, the youngest member and intern at the European Resuscitation Council, spends her days helping with translation projects of life-saving materials, so they reach people from all over the world.
Between translation tasks, she patiently answered the steady stream of support desk tickets, learning the rhythm of real-world emergencies behind every message. In her small way, she was already becoming part of a larger mission—helping knowledge travel faster than crises.
