Refresh Your Resuscitation Skills at the ESC Congress 2026

Are you attending the ESC Congress in Munich? Take advantage of the opportunity to refresh your life-saving skills with the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) at our dedicated CPR workshop area in Hall B1. 

Throughout the congress, the ERC will offer free 90-minute hands-on refresher workshops led by qualified ERC instructors, giving participants the opportunity to practise the latest resuscitation techniques and stay up to date with the current ERC Resuscitation Guidelines. 

Whether you are looking to strengthen your core CPR skills or enhance your leadership in advanced resuscitation scenarios, our workshops provide practical, interactive learning in a supportive environment. 

Advanced Life Support (ALS) Workshop 

The ALS workshop focuses on state-of-the-art Advanced Life Support techniques for in-hospital cardiac arrest. Participants will gain practical experience in applying the latest ERC ALS algorithm while developing the teamwork, communication, and leadership skills essential for effective resuscitation. 

Under the guidance of experienced ERC instructors, you will practise hands-on skills, receive personalised feedback, and have the opportunity to discuss clinical questions and challenging scenarios. 

Basic Life Support (BLS) Workshop 

The BLS workshop is designed to reinforce the essential skills required to deliver high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Participants will practise the professional Basic Life Support algorithm according to the latest ERC Guidelines, including high-quality chest compressions, correct use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and effective bag-mask ventilation. 

ERC instructors will provide hands-on coaching and individual feedback throughout the session, helping you build confidence in delivering life-saving care. 

If you already hold a valid ERC BLS certificate, you may also complete your BLS re-certification during the workshop by demonstrating competence in the required Basic CPR skills on site. 

Registration 

Participation in workshops is free of charge for ESC Congress delegates. 

To express your interest, please complete the relevant pre-registration form before the congress. Final registration will take place on site before each workshop on a first-come, first-served basis, as places are limited.
