Become an Instructor

Lifesaver in heart and soul and loving to share that spirit with others? You were born to be an ERC Instructor!

With your ERC certificate(s) (or equivalent or your willingness to get this on a shorter term), you are ready to instruct course participants what it takes to save a life. Contact the National Resuscitation Council in your country or mail the ERC office to get you started.

Volunteer at events

Together with the National Resuscitation Councils and our partners we can do many things. But for some occasions, we are not enough: we need You! During the Get Trained Save Lives campaign at the 2024 Euro in Germany and during the 2025 Women’s Euro in Switzerland, over 500 volunteers helped us to provide kids and adults with basic lifesaving skills at the ERC booths. During our annual congress on average 40 volunteers support us to give participants the best experience. Are you up for a special adventure? Give us your consent to keep your personal data and we will contact you when we need volunteers for an event in your country of residence. No strings attached, unless you commit yourself to a specific event.

Survivor of a cardiac arrest or (lay) rescuer

Your story is unique and has the power to inspire others more than any marketing campaign: to get trained, to raise awareness, to change legislation, to donate, to participate! If you are open to share your story with us, as survivor of a cardiac arrest, as a family member of a survivor or if you are someone who dared to take action when it was critical, please contact us. Whatever your story is, we will treat it with the utmost respect and confidentiality and will not use any part of it without your explicit consent. Help us engage the world!
