Who we are

The Committee

The Young ERC is a supporting committee of the ERC that is dedicated to fostering the next generation of resuscitation leaders by enabling networking, supporting development, and creating opportunities for students, trainees, and allied health professionals who are still early in their careers. The Young ERC organises online and in-person engagement with early career colleagues through educational webinars and dedicated sessions and workshops at the annual ERC congress. Since 2023, the Young ERC has been running the Resuscitation Science Masterclass and has recently launched a new Mentorship Program. In addition, the Young ERC is active across social media platforms sharing content and opportunities relevant to early career professionals and students looking to connect with the international resuscitation community.

  

The Young ERC Committee consists of 15 members, who are elected every two years by their peers. Along with the leadership team consisting of Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary, the committee is structured into six Working Groups that deliver on core activities of the committee.
